Born and bred on a dairy farm in the Waikato, I’m a 5th-generation New Zealander, married to a wonderful man with four grown-up young people, three of whom are married, with four delightfully cheeky grandsons and two gorgeous granddaughters. I love people watching, relationship building, and self-improving, Trained and experienced as a school teacher with eighteen years home educating my kids, I now regularly ride my mountain bike, and work on my most recent project- a memoir. Watch out for it, it will be released soon.

For the last 13 years I have enjoyed watching the impact that Strength coaching has had on the lives of the individuals, partnerships and teams of those I have coached. It is incredible to see each one recognise, analyse and then use their innate talents to approach their challenges and goals with confidence.

I’m first a mum and grammie, then I’m a strengths coach, and author of Missing Mum, Finding Grace and an advocate for motherhood.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand and love our country and travelling to the coast and to the hills.

My thing is encouraging people to embrace their unique giftedness and step into their God-given potential.

Lately, I've felt a strong prompting to inspire young people, especially women, to consider the beautiful journey of having children, nurturing families with grace and purpose. decision we make is shaped by a clear sense of purpose. Our journey has been anything but ordinary. Through every step, we've focused on staying true to our values and making space for thoughtful, lasting work.

…writing a book.’

(Something I never thought I would- or could!!)

My journey through the loss of a mother shared in Missing Mother, finding Grace inspires my work as a strength based coach in Auckland.

Through coaching, I help individuals and teams discover their spark, just as I found mine.

I empower individuals and teams light their spark, drawing on the resilience and insights shared in my memoir.

I want to see successful families, businesses and communities made up of people who know and use their SPARK celebrate each other’s differences and their greatest contributions in their relationships and in their roles. I love the Clifton Strengths Tool as it provides a common language for these talents and strengths.

I am willing to step out - to be an example to others who are afraid, disheartened or feeling weak; so that you can do all you were made to do!

“Authenticity is the daily practice of letting go of who we think we're supposed to be and embracing who we are.”
